Lithuania
Lithuania continues to maintain a high level of competition in the fight for high value-added projects. The Lithuanian capital – Vilnius, has fully justified itself as one of the best destinations for shared service and outsourcing in the CEE region. This is also reflected in the results achieved. Service centres of global business leaders such as Barclays, Western Union, Nasdaq, Danske Bank, IBM, Booking.com and many others are already present in Vilnius. More well-known names were established in Vilnius during 2021: private financial services group Alter Domus, professional business services and consulting company Accenture, digital agency Unrvld, etc. Companies that chose Lithuania plan to create about 3,000 jobs.
Lithuania also chooses many Belarusian companies due to favorable conditions and relocation possibilities. Currently Lithuania has been chosen by world-recognized technology companies such as Epam Systems, Wargaming, Flo Health, etc.
According to the data of Enterprise Lithuania from 2020 to the beginning of 2021, the number of existing enterprises in Lithuania grew (by 0.6%), reaching 87.7 thousand.
